About
BoogieJack.com has been online continuously since 1997. At it's peak it was serving over one million visitors per year, allowing me to leave the "rat race" and just work for myself. I retired several years ago since those halcyon days, but kept the site alive for sentimental reasons.Then I had a wild idea—I'd remake the site giving it a fresh look and new content, and no longer sell products to earn a living, but instead would accept tips from visitors to offset the hosting and other related costs. If the tips cover most of the cost most of the time, I'll keep the site going. If not, I'll close it down.

I was a founding member of i-cop (the International Council of Online Professionals), served on the Mid-State Technical College Marketing Program Advisory Board, authored three books on web design, and currently serve on the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors for our local affiliate and designed and maintain their website. I also wrote two newsletters with nearly 100,000 subscribers between them, with one being named the best ezine of the year. Not bad for an old man, I guess.
On a personal level I'm married with two step-daughters and a bunch of grandkids and great great grandkids.
