HTML Table TR Tag Tutorial

The tr element creates a table row in an HTML table. A table must have at least one row, but may have as many table rows as you choose.

A table row is divided into table cells. A table must have at least one table cell per table row.

Here's a simple table:

<tr>
<th>Favorite Songs</th>
<th>Artist</th>
<th>Comments</th>
</tr><tr>
<td>Moo Goo</td>
<td>Paul Black</td>
<td>Hypnotic slide guitar</td>
</tr><tr>
<td>Ain't That a Shame</td>
<td>John Kay</td>
<td>Great voice</td>
</tr>
</table>

Here's how that displays:

Favorite Songs	Artist	Comments
Moo Goo	Paul Black	Hypnotic slide guitar
Ain't That a Shame	John Kay	Great voice
