The link tag connects an external resource to the web page where it is used.
It is usually used to link an external style sheet or external JavaScript to an HTML page. The link tag is placed in the HEAD section of an HTML document. Here's an example: <head> <title>My Web Pag</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="MyStyles.css"> </head> In that example a link is made to an external style sheet.
