HTML Legend Tag

The legend tag provides the caption for a fieldset element. A fieldset allows you to group elements together, such as thumbmail images, icons, form fields, etc.
If you look at the fieldset example below—the legend is the part that reads Fieldset Legend. Here's the code for that simple fieldset: <fieldset> <legend>Fieldset Legend</legend> Name: <input type="text"> <p> Email: <input type="text"> </p></fieldset> The fieldset and legend can be fancied up nicely using CSS. An image can be substituted for legend text as well.
