HTML Help: Make a Download Link
How do I link to different file types so people can download them?
If the file is uploaded to your host, you need only use an anchor tag to link to it just as you would for a link to another page. You just specify the file and extension instead of a web page. For example:
<a href="downloads/MyFile.zip">Download My File</a>In that example you would be linking to a zip file named MyFile which is kept in a folder named downloads. Note that some types of files may require your host to change the server configuration. Zip files, PDF files, font files, and most common types of downloads like these are usually already set up to work at most hosts.
